Donnita tried to pull one over her teacher yesterday. The school has an afternoon program called the Good News Club, well Donnita got the teacher all confused by saying she did not know if she was suppose to go to it or not. So I get a call from the school asking what was going on. I told them to put her on the bus, when she got off the bus I asked her. Well, she basically started crying, so I told her I was writing a note to the teacher about the incident today. Well, have Donnita got done with her homework, she told me what really happened. Donnita said she was hoping if she got the school or she actually called me she would get to stay for the program. I told her that would not have worked and she knows better then that. I also told her if she was to stay for the program I would have told her she was staying. With her Dad's work schedule, she knows that she can not stay for afternoon programs at the school. So for her punishment, Donnita will have to miss the next football game, and she also lost her privilege of going to the Coin Club last night. So we will see how the rest of this school week goes for Donnita, she only has today and tomorrow of school. Also it is the schools fault for letting the confusing happening, to join the program you have to have a sign permission form from the parents. So they should have a list who is to go to the program, but looks like they do not. Friday is a school day but we all have appointments for the dentist Friday and time we get done, there is no way to get her to school to be even count for being there for half the day. I just hope taking some of her activities away this week, will help her understand.
