23 Week Pic

I just had to post this picture of my belly. I think am finally popping out and don't still look fat. Well, am 23 weeks and having the ache and pain of my hips and back hurting, but that is alright because it will be worth it in the end. Am just counting down ever week that gets me closer to see our little Benjamin. Like I said just had to post this one picture.

Halfway there!!!!!!!!

Well, time has seem to fly, we are halfway in this pregnancy. I can not wait to get to hold Benjamin in my arms, the little one is going to get some much love from his sisters. Am still not stressing to much, still no hospital visits for me, which is always great. Besides a positive pregnancy test, ultrasounds, and Benjamin kicking me, I would not be able to tell am pregnant compared to my other pregnancies. Donnita took the picture of my belly, if you notice about most of the pictures I let her take you will not see my face. I am a person that thinks they do not look good in pictures, so I try to get out of pictures. I will take pictures but hate to be in them.

Donnita is excited she has been waiting for a baby brother since my pregnancy with Erin. I believe she might not let anyone near Benjamin, she is going to be a very protective big sister of Benjamin. Mary Ann is now going around and telling everyone there is a baby in their belly, at is very cute. Mary Ann is starting to just realize there is a new member in the family. I believe her reaction is going to be great when she first sees Benjamin. Daivd I think is still in shock that he is getting a boy this time around. LOL

Hopefully, I will update next week after my doctors appointment.

Well, to our suprise!

We are having a bouncing baby boy, name Benjamin Leroy. This is the first boy for us, so we will have to learn how to take care of a newborn boy. It is just like learning all over again. Everything went great at the ultrasound and I can tell you this boy is not shy at all. The ultrasound tech, found the head and was measuring it, then she went to move the wand a little and boy was he showing us everything, legs wide open. Only thing was she was not recording that part because she was trying to get all the measurement first. I think that was the easiest part for the tech, because the baby was a bouncing all over the place. We could not get a good copy of the face on pictures because the baby was trying to turn over all the time. So today am 20 weeks 1 day. Pictures to come later.

19 Wks 1 Day

Did not get a picture for the exact day of 19 weeks but will try later for today. Probably, will not get time to post the picture. Everything seems to be going pretty good, had a little scare yesterday with the baby, just the baby being stubborn and not wanting to move. After a bowl of ice cream, I started to feel movement, which is a relief. Most people with my history would ask, why did I not go to the hospital, well there is not much they can do at 19 weeks. David said the baby might have been hiding out in my back, and am starting to believe he was right, because this morning when I woke up my back has been hurting. The good news the baby has been moving a lot this morning which makes me feel great, even with my back hurting.

Last Saturday we went up to Tennessee to get our niece Jocelyn. She will be staying with everyone in the family until it is time for her to go back home to her parents. Donnita and Jocelyn are glad to have some great days ahead for each one loves the other one to death.

This Sunday coming my sister will be coming down from Maryland to spend a couple of weeks with us. Am really excited about this because, she will be going with me to my U/S appointment. This will be the first time she has went to any of my appointments, considering that she is always out of state.

The rest of the family is doing great.
