Waking UP to Poop

This morning was very interesting to say the least. Last night after putting all the kids to bed I fell asleep on the couch, nothing new there. When I woke up and went into my room where Benjamin was, well at first I did not notice it. Was just talking to him while I got my glasses on. Well once I got my glasses on I see what Lil Man had been doing. While buckled into his car seat, he had managed to get his hand in his diaper and smear poop all of himself and the car seat. So I got him out and undress, while he thought it was all very funny. Got him in his first bath got all the poop off, refilled the tub with clean water to get him clean with soap and water. All this time Benjamin is having a good old time, while am thinking it must be fun to be a baby and play in poop. If my opinion counts I would say not. Got him all dried, diapered, and clean clothes, Donnita offered to feed him his bottle so I could get working on his car seat and all four toys that hang on the handle of the car seat. I would like to say that all the toys are clean and so is the car seat. One strap on the car seat looks dirty but I promise I cleaned it I think it is going to be stained forever. This morning was very interesting is all I can say.

School Starts Soon

Well, school start on August 16th, Donnita will be starting 4th grade this year. I have managed to get all of Donnita's school supplies for the year. This is also the first year that we have had to buy any school supplies for Donnita, the schools have supplied it but Donnita got to pick out her colors for some of her supplies, which made her very happy. We are going to be working on making sure all her clothes from last year our still wearable and see what we need to replace. I am pretty sure we will be in a market for a new coat this winter for her, wondering which store will have a good selection. Donnita seems to be super ready for school, probably ready to get away from her mom and siblings for a few hours each day. We will be finding out who Donnita's 4th grade teacher this coming Friday, she is already wondering who it might be.

I am wondering how Mary Ann and Benjamin are going to take Donnita going everyday to school, since they have got attached to her being home this summer. David has plans on teaching Mary Ann math, this is going to be fun to watch. The good thing is that she is already trying to do little bit of math on her own. Mary Ann can tell you colors of everything, only when she wants to, but most of the time she will come up to you and look this is so and so color. Benjamin is doing more standing up without holding on to anything but it is only for like a few seconds at a time. By the baby books he is already ahead of his milestones, which is great but reminds me that time does fly by. All my children are growing up so fast I better get the camera out and start taking a million pictures a day.

David's work place has decide to change the schedule back to eight hour shifts again, looks like we want get many days again with him. This schedule change takes place on August 16th so far, they can always change their minds at that place. Right now work is doing great so we are doing great, least it will let me get everything that Donnita needs for school and a little more. Since everything is going pretty good right now, I think it would be good for us to start Christmas shopping, so we want be like last minute shopping like we usually in up doing.

August for some reason to me seems to be very long, it is the first Saturday of the month and it seems like it should be the second. Hopefully, I will be able to get a picture of Donnita for her back to school, if I do I will try to post the picture.
